Here is a great opportunity to join Ramboll and work with geoscience, geophysics and business development both in local and global setting, focusing on markets, customers, and production.
We are looking for at least one Senior Geoscience Managers or Senior Geophysicists for our international offices in Copenhagen and/or Aarhus to develop and support our continued growth and development within offshore projects.
Your responsibilities as Senior Geoscience Manager / Senior Geophysicist
Our current marine projects include geophysical and geoscience manager services to several offshore windfarm, and cable- and pipeline projects throughout the globe.
Driven by a high level of ambition and a good understanding of the specific needs and requirements of individual projects, our goal is to provide internationally competitive consultancy services in close cooperation with our clients and with our colleagues in the Ramboll Group.
As Senior Geoscience Manager / Senior Geophysicist your main responsibilities will include:
- Take part in a broad range of primary marine services in the field of Geoscience and Geophysics
- Perform business development activities and manage client expectations
- Prepare proposals to clients
- Cooperate closely with the senior members of the Geophysical department
- Mentor junior and intermediate staff
- Project management
Close cooperation with other units in Ramboll especially our group of Geotechnical Engineers and Windfarm specialists (e.g., Impact Assessment, MetOcean, Cable engineers, offshore wind turbine foundation designers etc.).
We expect you to set high standards for the services we provide for our clients and business partners.
You and your competenciesWe expect you to have more than ten years professional experience and a solid technical background within Geoscience / Geophysics, consultancy, project management and business development. You should have a creative personality and possess good communication skills, both written and verbally. In the daily work you will be required to handle challenging projects and still focus on meeting the deadlines and budgets. You should have a relevant education as marine geophysicist, geologist, engineer or equivalent.
As our ideal candidate you are a team player and have:
- Experience with Geoscience management / G&G (geophysical and geotechnical) services
- Experience with marine geophysical services
- Project management skills on major, multi-disciplinary projects
- Commercial skills, ability to establish and retain long term client relations
- A proactive and energetic approach
The position as Senior Geoscience Manager / Senior Geophysicists will require networking across the Ramboll organization and good abilities for collaboration and communication is thus a prerequisite.
Join the Geophysical department
You will be a part of Ramboll’s Geophysical department based in Copenhagen and Aarhus, Denmark. Besides our team of app. 27 skilled Geophysicists/Geologists we have a variety of Geophysical equipment for marine surveys and onshore investigations including: seismic, ground penetration radars, equipment for electrical and electromagnetic methods and geophysical borehole logging.
Besides the department in Copenhagen and Aarhus, Denmark, we have several geophysical groups in the other Rambøll-offices world-wide and cross-border networking is therefore an integrated part of the job.
Ramboll Transport Ramboll’s experts address global transport and infrastructure challenges by working across the different engineering disciplines. Besides infrastructure projects we are also involved in projects within Energy, Water and Environment.
