The Danish Institute for IT Program Management at the IT University of Copenhagen offers one or more Post-doctoral Research Fellowships for a two-year duration, with a possible extension. The proposed starting date is 1 October 2023 or soon thereafter.
DIIP´s main area of research is IT project and program management.
The Post-doctoral Research Fellow will be responsible for both their own research and publications and support of other research activities within DIIP, including those of Professor Bent Flyvbjerg, whom the Fellow is expected to collaborate with.
Requirements
Candidates will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD-degree with proven research experience in project and/or program management.
- Experience with research on project and program performance, including quantitative research.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- One or more high-quality publications in highly cited journals relevant to the area such as International Journal of Project Management, Project Management Journal, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Information Technology, or equivalent.
Job description
The Post-doctoral Research Fellow’s main tasks will be research and writing aimed at publication in leading journals (for papers) or a leading university press (for books). Data collection (supported by RAs) and data analyses (supported by statisticians) will be part of the job.

Salary
Appointment and salary will be in accordance with the Ministry of Finance’s agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
