Do you want to be a part of finding tomorrow’s solutions for safe, high performance metro operation, ensuring the greatest possible value for our passengers with the smallest possible climate impact? Then it might be you, who we are looking for as our new Maintenance Engineer.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with great teamwork skills, who will help to ensure efficient and data-driven decision processes for the Copenhagen Metro. You will become part of a growing team of specialists in our Asset Insights team, having a focus on increasing the utilization of data in our asset management processes, and you will have a key role in planning the right actions at the right time.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will collect and qualify technical input to the decision process, and in this way help us take better decisions.

The Copenhagen Metro is responsible for the operation of the Copenhagen Metro, managing assets with an investment value of 42 bn. DKK. The demand for efficient and sustainable transport in the Copenhagen area is increasing, and our passengers are used to world class performance. Our greatest challenge is to keep a high performance, while increasing capacity and managing assets of increasing age. This requires a steady focus on our passengers and investment decisions backed by data.

About the job

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • To assess technical deliveries from our Service Providers, in subjects like asset condition assessment, long term monitoring, obsolescence management and maintenance optimization, and ensure appropriate corrective actions.
  • To perform audits of maintenance programs, together with our Quality Assurance Team
  • To identify possibilities to reduce risk using methods based on minimized passenger impact.
  • To assist in portfolio planning together with our technical specialists, supported by our new Asset Investment Planning tool.

About you

We are looking for a person with great team player skills and with a strong sense of quality. You are good at adapting your communication to the different people, you are interacting with. You can understand and plan complex tasks, often in cooperation with our suppliers. You are persistent in reaching results, and you can reach out for assistance when necessary.

  • You have professional experience from working with maintenance management.
  • You have a technical background, with an education in engineering or extensive professional experience. Knowledge of maintenance systems and maintenance standards is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • You communicate fluently in English and preferably also Danish, and you possess strong communication skills.
